Surprising Her with More than a Notebook Bag

I found the cutest notebook bag online last night for my daughter and I couldn’t help but order it for her. Of course, she called right when I was in the middle of placing the order for the notebook bag, and since she doesn’t know that we ordered her a notebook computer last week, I couldn’t exactly tell her what I was doing online. Instead, I just told her I was looking up some information and checking emails, which was true. I decided not to have the notebook computer sent to her dorm, but instead will wait until she comes home either this coming weekend or the next and give her everything then. I know she’s going to be really surprised and also happy since she’s been complaining about having to take turns in the library at the computers or use her room mates. We probably should have ordered her one before she ever left for college, but we had so much going on financially that we just couldn’t swing it- even with the great online prices. I’m happy we can give it to her now, and that she’ll get something different for Christmas.

Using Laptop Computer to Manage NFL Fantasy Team on Game Day

It’s finally here, the day I love the most during the week: Sunday. This means that I can pop open my laptop computer, while I am watching the intense NFL action on the TV set and be able to not miss a heartbeat of the action, while at the same time enjoying being able to manage my fantasy football team in real time. For me, that laptop computer has really come in handy over the football season so far—as you never know what to expect with any fantasy football team, and how your stats are going to be affected during any given Sunday, when anything can happen. But, I like to try and stay on top of that affair by being mindful of what is taking place on the screen that I am watching the big games of the day on, and then logging on to manage my fantasy football team simultaneously, using my laptop computer. I don’t even have to leave the couch, or miss a wink of the action, all thanks to my nifty and useful laptop computer!

Maybe It's Time for Her Own Laptop Computer

Last night close to midnight, my daughter came into the bedroom to ask if she could borrow my laptop computer for a couple of hours this morning. She has a paper that is due today and said that it was supposed to be nice weather so if she could take the laptop computer outside and work at the picnic table, she thought she’d be more productive. I could really understand her reasoning, since I often find myself taking the laptop computer outside and working, so I told her to make a go for it. I went to sleep and this morning when I got up, I was surprised to already find her in the back yard with the laptop computer. I wasn’t sure if she’d had breakfast, but I whipped up some blueberry waffles and took two out to her. She smiled and said she was just about to take a break for something to eat and she was happy to see the waffles. As I stood there, I found myself thinking that maybe my husband and I should get her a laptop computer this coming year for Christmas. I think it’s a definite possibility.

I love that I have the mobile power of my sweet and feature loaded laptop computer at my fore, because it really has come in handy for so many different things for me over the years. As most football fans know, today is the first day of the NFL season, the first Sunday at least, as the real first game was this past Thursday. But if you ask me, Sunday’s are for football. Whenever such intense games of action take place, I like to keep my laptop computer by my side on the couch, as I watch the games unfold. Since you can never really get to see all of the games, as they are regionally broadcasted, I like to look up stats on games that I can’t get on my TV with my laptop computer. This way I can inform my friends of how the other teams are doing. I also like to manage my fantasy team using my laptop computer, while watching the big games at the same time. I have found this to be a great way to get an awesome team online while enjoying the big games of the day.

Big Weekend For Desktop PCs

Labor Day weekend is only days away. When Monday came around all I could think about was Friday. Like usual the week has flown by. Along with three days of rest and relaxation, this holiday weekend also represents great sales. Everywhere you look there is a TV advertisement, online advertisement or mailer coming to promote big sales. I’m in the market for desktop PCs and this is the weekend to buy one. I’ve done the research, browsed the product and now I’m more than ready to pounce on a deal. Desktop computers sell for the best prices online. Even though every electronics store around me has some kind of deal for Labor Day so do the web retailers. Even the ones who don’t are sometimes cheaper than local stores.

All businesses want to dump their remaining 2010 product to get ready for next year. That is crazy in itself. This year flew by. I’m going to finish the last leg of the year with better desktop computers. I’m tired of fighting against the slow as molasses processor I’m using now.

The Laptop Computer and Rain was a Close Call

This morning I was up bright and early and decided to take my laptop computer outside and have breakfast at the picnic table. Even though our picnic table is at the back of our property, I knew the internet connection would work back there, because I’ve used the laptop computer at the picnic table countless times this summer. The sun was shining, so after I took the laptop computer outside and set everything up, I headed inside to brew a pot of coffee and also to get my breakfast cooking. It took a little while but right about the time breakfast was finished, I looked outside and saw that the sunny skies had been replaced with dark clouds. I was about to rethink sitting outside when it started pouring. I dropped my breakfast on the coffee table and ran outside to save my laptop computer. I grabbed it, closed it shut and ran inside just before the thunder and lightning started. I was worried it had gotten really wet, but once I got inside and checked it out, it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Thank goodness I walked outside when I did.

No Easy Task Shopping for Desktop Computers

My trusty old desktop PC is on its last leg. After owning it for over 6 years and replacing nearly every single internal component, I do not want to keep it alive for much longer. I use my desktop PCs circuitry every single day. The disc drive, SD card slot and rear USB ports stopped working. It is not a matter of updating the drivers either. The components are shot. My processor is not so bad but pretty much all of the rest of my desktop computers stats seem to be from the Stone Age. Who only has 1.5 GBs of RAM anymore? I’ve been looking at new systems and most of them come with a core duo processor if not better and at least 6 GBs of DDR3. Not to mention they have inputs for HD devices.

Yes, it is time to shop for something new. I can’t stand hearing my desktop PCs fan overwork itself any longer. Or deal with the stuttering lag when to many processes are happening at once. There is a lot to choose from online. It makes shopping difficult. At the end of the day though I’d rather have options.

We were sitting outside yesterday evening after dinner having some watermelon for dessert and I noticed that my son wanted to ask something but yet he didn’t seem to know for sure. I could tell there was hesitation and rather than ask what he was thinking about, I decided to wait. About ten minutes later, he asked what the possibilities were that he could get a notebook bag for the new notebook computer that we’d just ordered him. It had arrived a few days before and the truth of the matter is, when I found it online for a great deal, I showed it to him and asked if he liked the laptop computer. We never even talked about a bag and I felt bad that I hadn’t thought of it earlier. I smiled and assured him that we could get him a laptop bag whenever he wanted that all he had to do was find one online that he liked and we’d order it right away. He smiled and asked if he could be excused from the table. I knew exactly where he was headed, to find a bag for his laptop.

About six weeks ago I decided to enroll in some classes and they begin in about three weeks. Once I took the plunge and decided to go to school, I went online, found a laptop computer for myself and order it. I wanted to make sure that I had a laptop computer that I could use for years to come, so I purchased one that was top of the line. The one thing I did forget to order at the time was a notebook bag. This weekend, I plan to spend some time online researching to see if I can find a notebook bag that will hold not only my computer, but also leave extra room for any extra books and papers that I’ll be carrying with me. I figure it will make it much easier than having to carry several different bags at once. For years, I’ve talked about going back to school and how much fun I thought it would be, and now I’m making it happen. I am looking forward to meeting my class mates, and even though I know I’ll probably be one of the oldest people in the class, it doesn’t matter. I’m going to learn.

I was working online today, as I do every day, and my desktop computers in my house were really running slow. I started to shut them down thinking that they needed to be rebooted but they still were doing the same thing—just hanging on the same load up screen on my desktop computers. I pulled out the warranty for my desktop computers and that was when I realized that this desktop computers is nearly five years old! Now I am working on my laptop as I write this, and I have a nice browser window open that is my portal to online savings on the desktop computers that I want to get to replace my old one with. I have not shopped online for desktop computers for quite some time, since I last bought my laptop a few months back, but let me assure you that the deals that I am uncovering on the web are really hard to top. I know that I will be able to easily and affordably replace my desktop computers tower for a grand bargain online!

To Buy or Not Buy Desktop Computers?

That is the question I’m dealing with right now. My current desktop seems to be on its last leg. The problem with it is age. At over six years old, the processing speed and motherboard cannot support all of my multitasking effectively. That and every time it restarts, it freezers and starts buzzing incessantly until I turn it completely off and then turn it back on. I could wipe the hard drive clean and reinstall everything from the ground up. That would rid my computer of years of junk but the internal components would stay unchanged. Desktop computers of today should not stutter and slow when multiple web browsers, documents and a music player is running. My desktop can’t handle it sometimes and slows to a crawl until catching up.

Desktop computers are affordable at retailers like Ro-Bear Connection. The question is whether or not to shell out the cash. I’ve dealt with this problem for so long it is easy to tell myself to deal with it a little longer but at the same time new desktop PCs would make life easier and work more efficient. I’ll have to stew this over longer.

Yesterday afternoon I took the laptop computer to my mothers to browse for a new camera. She has talked for a while now about buying a camera but yet the ones she’s seen at the mall have been far more than she wanted to pay. I finally told her that I’d bring the laptop computer along with me and that I’d help her find a camera for a great price. She was happy with the fact that I would help her find something and in anticipation of me stopping in yesterday she’d made my favorite pie. She offered me a slice as I pulled out the laptop computer and started browsing cameras. I had an idea of what she wanted so it didn’t take me long to find exactly what she was looking for. When she saw how much cheaper it was I could tell she was surprised. The camera was offered in several different colors, so she chose the one she wanted and I placed the order for her using my laptop computer. Once I was done we decided to go buy groceries since I mentioned needing to pick up a few things. She even tried to buy them for me as a thank you for helping her with the camera. I told her the pie was more than enough.

She Finally Chose a Practical Notebook Bag

When my daughter asked me for a notebook bag for her small laptop, I thought she had in mind one of the really cute, colorful ones that I’ve seen online. I thought for sure that out of the huge selection of bags, there would be one notebook bag that she’d like. Little did I know that she already had something else in mind? A few days after she asked for the notebook bag, she sent me a text message while she was out with friends with a picture attached. It was a bag that she just had to have, and said it would double as her notebook bag. I could definitely understand that she wanted the bag, and even though I did think it was cute, I did not think it would make a good bag for her laptop so I told her no. Needless to say, she was not a happy camper. I finally got her to understand why I said no, and asked her to look at the ones I’d seen online. She was resistant, but she did find one that she loved, and I ordered it. It should arrive sometime this coming week and I know it will be much more practical than the bag she liked.

I was so excited when I heard that my niece won the notebook computer that I’d donated to the senior escape night at her school, but I didn’t tell her that I’d been the one who donated it until she called to tell me all about winning it.

Each year after graduation the school has what is called a senior escape night, which has food, music and prizes for the graduating seniors. The younger classmen can attend, but they can’t win prizes and my niece has been waiting for this day to arrive. The prizes are donated by various businesses and individuals, and when I found a notebook computer online for a really great price, I thought why not order it and donate it to senior escape? As soon as I’d ordered the notebook computer, I called my sister to let her know what I’d done, but warned her not to mention it to Miranda on the off chance that she won. I didn’t want anyone to think that the contest had been rigged. I was so excited to be able to tell Miranda that the notebook computer that she’d won had ultimately come from me. She thought that it made the win even sweeter and I was happy to see it go to someone that I know could use it.

My New Notebook Bag

A couple of months ago I bought myself a new notebook computer because my old one had stopped running as quickly as I needed it to. When I bought my new notebook computer I also purchased a new notebook bag. The reason I bought the new notebook bag is that I am planning a vacation to the Florida Keys in June. We will be flying down and I want to take my new notebook computer with me. The last notebook bag I had was bought for me by my husband. It was never exactly a reflection of my own personal taste and it was also starting to look a little bit shabby. I like the new notebook bag that I purchased online for less than the recommended retail price a lot more than the one I got from my husband. My new notebook bag is both stylish and elegant. That means that I will feel confident and classy when we travel to the Florida Keys this June. I should feel like a million dollars as I go through the check in, board the plane and get off again in Florida next month.

I have to say that FINALLY I got the notebook bag that my wife offered her stamp of approval on! You can see the bolded emphasis on the word finally because actually uncovering the notebook bag that she would agree to use was a rather interesting prospect, to say the least my dear readers! You see, my wife is all about fashion and looking her best all of the time, and I can’t really say that I blame her, as I am the same way. So when it came to finding not only a great deal online on the notebook bag that she would use, but one that was of her tastes, I can tell you that it was quite an endeavor. My Laptop Computer is my Life

I am extremely grateful for my laptop computer. It's literally my life.

I telecommute to work, so my laptop computer helps me bring in the bacon. Telecommuting is the greatest career choice I've ever made. I work odd hours during the night because I prefer that and I know I'm much more productive at this time. I also love the fact that whenever I get bored at home, I can pack up my laptop computer and set up my office somewhere else. I am definitely a coffee house junkie, as a result.

I do not own a television. This is a choice I made because I know I'd watch at least 5 hours of television a day if I owned one. I get quick fixes on my laptop computer through the magic of YouTube. I don't have to commit to half-an-hour or even a full hour of television a day and I'd rather have it this way. I feel more in control of my viewing experience.

I also do my shopping on my laptop computer. Shopping is fun because I cover more "ground" doing so, ironically. In a few moments, I can conduct a good amount of price comparison shopping and find exactly what I want.

Life is so convenient because of my laptop computer. And I'm grateful for it.

A Laptop Computer Christmas

I had been going on and on about how I needed a new laptop computer for christmas. I thought that my wife was not listening, so I resided myself to a pair of socks and hopefully some cologne. I had been looking online for deals on a notebook computer for a while, so I knew which laptop computer that I wanted. It had everything that I needed to get the job done, and more. Now if I could only get my wife to get me one for Christmas, all would be well in the Universe.

I woke up Christmas morning with a jump. My wife had already been up for quite sometime, and the music was slowly trying to put me back to sleep. I laid there for a few more minutes, enjoying the soft melodic beats and tones. I lifted myself out of bed, put on my slippers, and headed downstairs for another Christmas. Breakfast was my favorite, and I noticed a new present that was under the tree. It seems like my wife did not go wrong at all this year.

My Laptop Computer Saved The Day Again

     I am so glad that I have my laptop computer, and especially the Wifi card that allows me to surf the internet anywhere I go. My wife and I were in Seattle, and we were a little lost. I tried to remember if my laptop computer had GPS, and after closer inspection, it did. I used the businesses around me for a signal to log onto the internet and our navigation problems were solved. We made it to our destination with a few minutes to spare, and a lot less stress.

     That laptop computer has saved the day more than once, and I never leave the house without it. The GPS program that is installed into the laptop is awesome as well. I enter the address where I need to be and it guides me there, around traffic and accidents to boot. Something that my desktop PC would never be able to do.

     I found my laptop online, at a great deal. I actually built it on the company website. I picked the operating system, and everything else you can think of. Nice huh.

Laptop Computer Helps Me Keep Up with Work

Laptop computers help me to keep up with my work. Since they are so portable, I can take it anywhere and work. If I go on a trip with my family, I can bring my laptop computer and work on the road. If I have to wait somewhere, like the auto repair shop or doctor's offices, I can have my laptop with me and work while I wait. There is no wasted time, and all of my work gets done in a timely manner. I love the portability of laptops because I can keep doing my work anywhere I have to go. That also applies to when I get sick, and I'm stuck in bed. I don't have desktop computers so I'm not stuck to a desk. My laptop computer can come to bed with me and I can still work here and there between sleep. Not only do I keep up with my work, but I can keep in touch with people and do email, Facebook and more. They really are a wonderful way to keep up with work and play.
