Last night close to midnight, my daughter came into the bedroom to ask if she could borrow my laptop computer for a couple of hours this morning. She has a paper that is due today and said that it was supposed to be nice weather so if she could take the laptop computer outside and work at the picnic table, she thought she’d be more productive. I could really understand her reasoning, since I often find myself taking the laptop computer outside and working, so I told her to make a go for it. I went to sleep and this morning when I got up, I was surprised to already find her in the back yard with the laptop computer. I wasn’t sure if she’d had breakfast, but I whipped up some blueberry waffles and took two out to her. She smiled and said she was just about to take a break for something to eat and she was happy to see the waffles. As I stood there, I found myself thinking that maybe my husband and I should get her a laptop computer this coming year for Christmas. I think it’s a definite possibility.
