I am so grateful that I'm able to telecommute for anywhere in the world. Having a laptop computer is a major reason why I can travel wherever I wished. I imagined what it would be like to work from Paris or New York. How fun it would be to work from a sunny beach on Kauai. Realistically, I planted myself and my laptop computer in numerous cafes. It was my dream to be a freelancer in a cafe and now I finally was one.
However, it took me a year or two to discover that the best place in the world to work from is home.
I love working from home because all my comforts are around me. My home is well designed and I keep it clean and comfortable. I can then reap the benefits of having a calm atmosphere. The best thing about working from home is the fact that I do not have to spend loads on coffee or food from eating outside all the time. I can make my own healthy meals from scratch. I'm in complete control of my surroundings.
Plus, it's still awesome having a laptop computer. I can sit with my laptop computer in the kitchen, the office or the patio and do all my work.
