We were sitting outside yesterday evening after dinner having some watermelon for dessert and I noticed that my son wanted to ask something but yet he didn’t seem to know for sure. I could tell there was hesitation and rather than ask what he was thinking about, I decided to wait. About ten minutes later, he asked what the possibilities were that he could get a notebook bag for the new notebook computer that we’d just ordered him. It had arrived a few days before and the truth of the matter is, when I found it online for a great deal, I showed it to him and asked if he liked the laptop computer. We never even talked about a bag and I felt bad that I hadn’t thought of it earlier. I smiled and assured him that we could get him a laptop bag whenever he wanted that all he had to do was find one online that he liked and we’d order it right away. He smiled and asked if he could be excused from the table. I knew exactly where he was headed, to find a bag for his laptop.
